FAQ

1. Safety

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO THESE EVENTS?

To ensure we provide a safe and comfortable environment for learning, we have placed an age limit on the workshops that require body contact and movement with other individuals.

All events are catered to participants aged 13 - 21, but participation is not limited to the age range.

HOW DO YOU SAFEGUARD THESE EVENTS?

THEATRE360 prioritises the safety and protection of all individuals, regardless of age.

It is always unacceptable for a child, young person or adult to experience abuse of any kind and we recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all participants, by a commitment to practice which protects them.

All companies, collectives and individuals participating in this festival have understood and agreed to all our policies of safeguarding and inclusion.

We recognise that:

  • The welfare of the child or young person is paramount.

  • All children, regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation, or identity, have the right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse;

  • Working in partnership with children, young people, their parents, carers and other agencies is essential in promoting young people’s welfare.

CAN MY CHILD ATTEND THE EVENT WITHOUT AN ADULT?

For everyone’s safety, children under the age of 13 must always be supervised by an accompanying adult during their visit.

TRAIN360

No, our workshops are programmed to be suitable for the ages of 13 – 21. Anyone entering a workshop requires a ticket and are expected to participate in each of the activities.
