We invite you to open your hearts and minds to the stories of The Young Company as they conclude their first semester in 2023 with a collection of devised pieces written with their personal experience as a starting point.
These young actors will take you on a journey. The stories they share with you are their own, the words they speak are theirs, and the emotions they feel are those of their own creation.
These stories are not just about them—they are about us. We hope these stories remind you of your own life journey, and inspire you to share your own story with others.
The show is directed by Thong Pei Qin and supported by Programme Leader Daniel Jenkins.
The Young Company
Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT)’s The Young Company is a yearly acting programme for young persons aged between 16 – 25 that will equip you with the holistic skills and techniques you need to shine onstage as well as in your future career of choice. The programme has a rich 20-year history and was the first youth theatre programme to be established in Singapore.
